Hi all, my interior is very scratchy and its like a layer of rubber peeling. there are some deep scratches at the center console near the gear shift. How do i repair those stuff without buying new? And im gonna coat the trims to carbon fiber. Any recommended people or shops for really good detailing? Thanks alot guys. Hope to fix this problem asap. =D

The rubber layer has already disintegrate so what you can do is to sand down the rubber layer and repaint it.

For coating the trims to carbon you can try http://www.autoaid-tech.com/about.htm
Do take some before and after pics if you decided to try autoaid

yeah. im gonna try out this eco coat. my fren can get me cheaper prices. im comparing this to auto laminate but i think eco coat is better.

if sand down the rubber layer can i still coat another rubber layer? is it possible?

yes guys, I'm also having same problem. DO share the price & contacts.
BTW, the rear compartmemnt roller at the armrest has broken, can get replacement?

Me too.. do share the information with me, and which parts you are having done

hi , as far as i know , u have to replace the whole set as what i had to do.

You can try this shop in Jln Ipoh where I got the contact from shanbala. The shop in question is located along Jln Ipoh 3 3/4 mile . (opposite Bodmin BMW spare parts shop). Get onto Jln Ipoh & head towards Kepong/B Caves. As you go along Jln Ipoh you will pass the Segambut turn off & First Division BMW spare parts shop on you left. Keep going straight till you see Komplex Mutiara on your left. (Komplex Mutiara is exactly opposite Bodmin which is on your right). Slow down at Komplex Mutiara, just after K Mutiara you will see a large Nissan service centre. As soon as you pass the service centre, take the first immediate left. You will be entering a narrow street with workshops on both your left & right. The road surface is really bad. Full of potholes etc ............. Towards the end of the street (which is a dead end) you will notice Fue Sang Cushion Maker on your left. Look for Ah Kin 019-278 3022. Call b4 you head there to ensure he is there to meet you. When I was there yesterday, he was working on some trims for an E46, E39, E34 and E65.

No worries. Just buy the whole rear compartment roller(ashtray compartment). Should be about RM 200. E46 interior parts damn fragile and brittle. Just replace some interior covering parts and rollers. Not solid ler.
