E46 gearbox

M facing a problem with my E46 auto gearbox. Gear doesn't seem to shift right.Have had this problem over a month. Especially during the first few minutes of driving each time, gear doesn't shift up when I'm driving down a slope at 20km/h. Engine revs till 3 and I have to release the pedal a little for it to shift down again. Then it's fine from then on.However, yesterday when I drove at 70-80km/h downslope and step on my brakes a little, the gear doesn't seem to respond and revs up to 4. Have to apply brakes and takes approx 5-8 seconds before it downshifts.Changed my ATF to a ZF fluid approx 2 months ago. Some told me that the my AYF level could be in excess of what's required.Any ideas or has anyone experienced this b4?
