E46 318i whats the market price now?

hi all..can anyone tell me the market price for E46 318i.but im not sure what year is it.he told me once but i forgot.his number plate is "WLX".is it year 2004??my neighbour wanted to let go his.but i dont know how much to offer him.plan to buy over.does anyone know the market price now?thanks...

bro, its very hard to advise you from the details you shared as alot of factors are taken into account such as year of car, condition, service records, etc.

do advise the details i suggested above and the brothers here will be able to advise you further.

however, at the end of the day, how much you are willing is pay is how much you are comfortable with seeing the condition of the car. buying it cheap may mean paying more at the end of the day for repairs, etc.

hmm..yea totally agree with what you are saying.anyway im very new with E46.so i dont really know much what should i take note with.currently i have an E36.but i love E46 alot.as what i can see the condition is still nice.but i havent test drive the car so i dont know how it feels like yet.the owner told me so far so good.no problem occur.bout the sevices record will ask bout it.cause before this i was asking my neighbour how much he bought his car cause i wanted to get 1 too.then he said he wanted to let go his.he didnt tell me how much he wanted to let go.he ask for my offer.he told me he bought for RM130k.btw he is quite a rich guy..i dont really know the market price.so i didnt give my offer.i told him i check it out..

If I'm not mistaken WLX should be 2004, and currently it will sell around 120k the most. I can't agree more with paying a bit more to save the repair cost later. Bought my E-46 318 2.0 slightly above current market price and after using it for 25k km in 7 months, all I did was normal servicing every 10k km. But put in mind once you take it, change the engine oil, air filter, coolant and in my case changed all disc brakes, pads and sensors + expansion tank. I think 3k should be enough to get things ok once you get the car.

my colleague just got his E46 - ex Directors car 2004 with 56K KM on the odo. He paid 106K for the same.

Stock standard but kept in immaculate condition.

ahh...i see.yea rather to get a car without giving me any problems..hmm so the price is around RM105k-120k then.depends on the conditions.i hope i can get a good bargain from my neighbour.haha..

You need to check whether is it a normal E46 318i or its a lifestyle model.In year 2004 onwards,AB had introduce the lifestyle model for 318 CKD version and M-sport model for 325i.If it is a lifestyle version where it comes with more gadgets like electric seat,3 spoke M- steering wheel ,wood trims etc,it should be around RM120-130k.
