E39 RIMS on a E34

Hello gang....just a quick query..I have a set of E39 allow wheels..17 inches.Will this fit onto the E34 ? IS the offset the same ?Tks/Cheers

I believe you will need to put in a cone.

Keray is right. The E39 centre bore is 74mm whereas the E34 centre bore is 72.5mm. Therefore a hubcentric ring (or cone) is needed for fitting, but the offset should be the same.

Ahh...ok thanks much..i get it now..without the hubcentric rings..the wheel would
'rest' on the lugs..and this will cause vibrations if not centred.

You mean RM 120 for 4 ? Where did you get it ? I presume I got conned by Hup Shun Tyres in Sunway because they charged me RM 100 for 1.

I think I have a spare set at home. Please PM me if interested, I will go and look for them. RM80 per set of 4 (new set, not used). Keray, you were definitely overcharged by Hup Shun, coz they sold to me at RM20 each before, when I first bought my E34 a few years back.
