e39 power window cheap fix

fixed my front lh power window today.there are 4 PLASTIC pulleys(pink kaler).the top rear pulley broke and crumbled due to age and heat i guess.so i went to my local engineering shop and asked if they cud manufacture a pulley made of steel and he said...sure can...saya bikin nylon punya.all it took for him was half an hour and i parted rm40.goodie goodie......rm40 and all is sorted.until the next PLASTIC pulley breaks that is.....:stupid:so for anyone with broken power window pulleys.....there is still hope yet.....ps. the center pic is the rm40 nylon pulley

then take back your old unit and replaced the broken plastics with new ones and keep it as spare or sell it.

Ur 1is lucky because it just only the pulley broken. My rear power window got problem due to the cable rubber. There is a plastic head for the cable rubber. That head broken then no choice have to change everything.

It is soon to fail down. My mechanic told me don't wind down the window anymore otherwise the window might stuck anytime.

The cable also selling in ebay. If u can diy, u only spend less than RM300 u can fix ur power window with new parts.

Do u know, motor, cable, pulley, power window rack all can buy separately in ebay ? It very cheap and it is new part.

hey bro.....well...i got mine done so definitely yours can be manufactured as well.got mine done at a local engineering shop in Nilai.....me thinks any engineering shop shud be able to manufacture one.but you have to give them a sample la....to measure the dimensions
