e39 Parts and Maintenance Cost

Some items bought from Bomin Auto Jalan Ipoh, bought myself to be delivered to the workshop. Here's the damage:</p><p></p><p>Bought from Bomin Auto:</p><p></p><p>1) Radiator (german brand he says, no brand on the radiator) RM600</p><p>2) Thermostat RM150</p><p>3) Idler bearing RM75</p><p>4) Fan Belt Tensioner RM130</p><p></p><p></p><p>Item bought by workshop (he admitted he marks up these prices):</p><p></p><p>1) Oil Filter Housing Gasket RM20</p><p>2) Oil Filter RM40 (I knowwww!!)</p><p>3) Castrol Magnatec 10W40 RM110 each x2 = RM220</p><p></p><p>Labour</p><p></p><p>1) Fit new radiator RM80</p><p>2) Replace oil filter housing gasket RM100</p><p>3) Replace thermostat RM50</p><p>4) Replace fan belt bearing + idler bearing RM50</p><p>5) I think he forgot to charge for doing the oil change so the filter price is ok for me.</p><p></p><p>Total damage RM1515</p><p></p><p></p><p>What do you guys think?</p></blockquote><p></p>
