The 520i comes with 150BHp, 523i comes with 172Bhp while the 528i comes with 193BHp. The 520i is actually a 2.2L engine, 523i = 2.5L and 528i = 2.8L. The advantage of the Double Vanos is that you will be able to maximize power and ecomony from low to high rpms...From year 2002 onwards in MAL, the 520i gets a 2.2L 170Bhp engine, while the 525i gets a 2.5L 192Bhp engine and the 530i gets a 3.0L 230+Bhp engine....Hope this helps..</blockquote>
