My 525i's gearbox occasionally jerks when shifting down from 3rd to 2nd. It doesn't happen all the time, and the jerk is very mild - only noticeable when slowing down without using the brakes or when using them lightly for a soft stop.I've done an OBD diagnostic check and there are no error codes showing for the gearbox. Nor are there any leaks from under the car. Service records for the car show that the ATF fluid has been changed every 50,000km at AB, last one being done at 100k, which is just before I took over the car from its first owner. Since it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue, I'm just wondering if a software reset might get rid of this issue on my car.
