e39 523i 97'

HI sifus'thinking about getting a e39 523i 97'. it doesnt have the multi steering & electric seats. but one thing, the interior & exterior is fine. Plus points it has 18" Artec rims plus the AC body kit. notice one this that the aircond blowers pipes from the filter has deteriorated. seen it on some e39s as well. is this a common problem?Is there anything else i should look out for? Mileage of the car im looking at is around 86,000 kms. Please advise.Thanks.

Stay away!
The car should not have 86000km only, really hard to believe.
Look for a car with service records only.

Get closer! my 1997 e39 is about to clock 80k km, may be worth another look, check the service records ... but note, 97 is single vanos ..

any different between 523i & 528i?is it only the road tax problem?how about the fuel consumption?i heard 528i fuel consumption better than 523i.is it the true?
