E39 02 Angel eye failure

Hi all,Today I got my first MID error message "check park lights". My left side Angel eye is not functioning. Would like to ask what need to be replaced, the ring or a small bulb behind it? Can DIY ke and what would be the cost like? Advice is appreciated, thanks!

Your bulb behind the ring needs to be replaced. Can diy.

BTW, bmwe39 managed to change the small little bulb/led that's in the housing...means...he opened up the bulb housing, removed the small little bulb from the housing, took it to spare part shop to buy the bulb and put it back...the cost of the bulb is negligable....

if u want better look ...u can change to aftermarket LED marker to change ur angel eye to white colour ............

For Halogen headlight, angel eye bulb is juz above headlight bulb.
