E36 "side skirt" area

hi alljust like to ask.. the area below the door(where looks like side skirt.. but actually is part of the body)the place where got 2 holes we can jack our car using bmw jackis the area smooth surface?or is there version with rough surface?because i saw one car which is rough surfacei suspect is spray with bitumen (the one we spray under the car for rust proof)or i suspect is car body putty being done not well alsohope you can help me. Thanks in advance

I think it should be rough. Mine is . The ori one is bumpy one. The smooth one is the body kit version I think. I like the smooth version lol .

not rough like.. non-gloss surface... dono how to describe....

i scare that is being patch up one

the body area ... where the fender meets the front door,
