E36 parts

hi all c fu & otai bimmer,how much is the steering with ABS model E36 325i? I found one in mechanic workshop. he just rplace one 325i engine with vanos 325i(halfcut). the guy offer me RM550 is it fair price or? is it can b used in my E36 318i 1997 model?one more thing is inside my car I can smell smoke from outside wut wrong w my airflow? is there anythg should i check?

its ur aircon vent, still ada outside air masuk even u only choose internal circulation. To solve this, just glue shut permanently. But then if u want to allow external air masuk into aircon, cannot already lah...

do u mean the 3rd button on the right is for circulation? if the green light "ON" is for inside air circulate then if green"Off" outside air could come in. ?/ I already spend RM80 coz that guy said he manage to service the airflow.. but just a week ok.. then today beside me a city bus spread her smoke.. all over then the smell come inside the car.. only e smell. but not longer...then the air circulate back.

If the steering is from model 95 onward ....then its same as ur .....if 95 below.....afraid its diff .....

i seal mine ...but still got a bit smell from outside .....

yeap.. its not happen all da time. but its annoying. if asap bus still ok.. last time i lalu tepi loji, urgHhH~..
c'mon bro safrul. how to permanently seal it. if i want external air, just buka tingkap.. so dont mind to seal it..

err....not easy access lah because have to remove some plastic aircon thing in the engine compartment.....but actually easy. open the bonnet. then find the lubang for aircon vent. i didnt do myself, ask aircon man to do. what he do, he put the screw at the flap so that the flap sangkut and cannot open. Then he use the tape and tape around and over the flap so that no air and even habuk masuk. itu saja....no more habuk and bau.

Lupa liao...but its cheap .....last time i did wit others thing ....so cant recall it ...

k.. I will ask my mechanic..some more how much is the aircond filter which is inside the car above the dashboard? anyone knows...if this filter is dirty then the fan will become slow n slower... lambat nk sejuk..
