<blockquote data-quote="Terri" data-source="post: 341022" data-attributes="member: 16448"><p><u>Suspension & Oil Leak</u> (Labour Charges Only - Bavian Benz)</p><p></p><p>Oil Service RM40</p><p>Renew Front Shock Absorbers RM160 entire system changed</p><p>Renew Rear Shock Absorbers RM130 entire system changed</p><p>Renew Bonnet Shocks RM20 both sides (RM10 each)</p><p>Renew Rear Coolant Connector RM90 - alot of work to get to this thing and change it</p><p>Renew Lower Arm Outer Ball Joints RM84 (RM42 each)</p><p>Machine Press Ball Joints RM40 (RM20 each)</p><p>Renew Oil Filter Housing Gasket & Bush RM120 - alot of work to change this also</p><p>2 O-Rings for oil filter bush RM16 (RM8 each)</p><p></p><p>Total Cost RM700</p><p></p><p>Note : </p><p>I supplied all the parts so the workshop didn't make any profit off of anything other than the labour</p><p>Also 1 of the 2nd hand shocks was too soft and Mr Check returned the piece for me and got a replacement from the chop shop</p><p></p><p>Also Note :</p><p>Alot of extra stuff was done that wasn't charged :- </p><p>wiper blades adjusted, </p><p>the bottom of the engine was washed to try and find the oil leak - too much oil covering everything to see anything</p><p></p><p><strong>Recomendations</strong></p><p>1)This workshop isn't very full so it's a good place to go to if you need to get work done immediately</p><p>2)To save having to <strong>bargain</strong> after the work is completed, if you know what you want done, get the labour quote upfront</p><p>Doesn't apply tho if like me, you are uncertain about the cause of a problem (my oil leak) .....</p><p>3)Mr. Check gets a 9 out of 10 for knowledge and service (very nice man, he lost a point because he doesn't supervise his mechanics constantly - he only supervises at the start and when the workers have a problem)</p><p>4)The mechanics are also very nice and helpful - also if you are not satisfied and ask them to re-do something, they will and they don't complain about it</p><p></p><p><strong>Conclusion</strong></p><p>Job well done and i'm very satisfied</p><p></p><p>(Having to bargain at the end , soured the experience abit but other than that, i would recomend them)</p></blockquote><p></p>
