As some of you may know, with the help of Jarance, I got my AFM serviced recently and no more problem of having the engine shutting down after heavy acceleration. This was something great for me to know at least. Lately, I faced another problem, the idling on my M43 is erratic, going up and down, though it's not that serious. So to put it to a simple test, once I started the engine (with air-cond off), the RPM reading was at about 600, then when I switched on the air-cond, it went up to about 800, off the air-cond and it dropped to 600 again. The rough idling was most felt during cold start with air-cond off and when engaged in Reverse gear. So this time I am suspecting that:- 1) the ICV is acting up? 2) some leakages in the vacuum hose? what can I do... time to service my ICV after the AFM?
