E36 M3 Spoiler

Hi all,Sorry for the newbie question.....Still got a lot to learn about BMW...Just wanna know how does a real M3 spoiler looks like...googling it gave me 2 different types....View attachment 15421View attachment 15422One with the LED lights and one without...Are both of these M3 spoilers?....And i feel like i've seen somewhr another so called M3 spoiler with 3 connection points...the sides and 1 in the middle....is that also an M3?....And also what is the diff of M3 and Mtech bodykits?...are they just same things with 2 different names or they're totally different?.....Hope sifu's out there can enlighten me on these doubts....thank you..regards,busdriver

I believe there's a few variant of the M-Technik bumpers throughout the production run of the E36 with some being more popularly available than others.

Have a look at this thread in bimmerforums from the US which shows a variant of the M-Tech front and rear bumpers which I've never seen before.

The spoilers you posted is from the E36 "M-Technik" variant and yes they do come with or without the 3rd brake light built-in.
