Be careful when you want to disconnected the cable for the airbag cos it will register a fault when you ON the ignition to check the horn. You need a modic to reset this alarm once it is registered. The horn is very easy to check. when you remove the steering cover by removing the 3 torx key located at the steering wheel, you will see a big nut. Use a size 17 socket wrench to remove the steering. Before you remove the steering, make sure you disconnect the battery if you dont want the Air Bag Fail Alarm. Make a marking for the steering wheel so you know the position of the alignment. After you have remove the steering, you should see 2 wire clips. One is for the horn and the other is for the airbag. To activate the horn, make sure that all the is not disconnect from the clip holder. Connect back the battery and turn the igntion key to acc or on position. Use a jumper wire and connect from ground to the wire for the horn. It is sound it means that the sliding clip is llose or dirty.
