[QUOTE="awyeah, post: 20963, member: 19607"] I seemed to had a engine starting problem recently. In the evening going back from office, the car cannot start. After tightening battery terminals, the car can start. Then when I opened the fog lamps only the engine died. Meaning some problem with the electric wiring.Waiting a few mins, I can start it back again, but I didn't turn on any lights, and shut off the stereo and drove. While going back home (5km only), the car shut down on two or three times, but managed to start it back again. Also, once when I started it, the engine idling was around 3, after that while driving for 10-20 secs it came back to normal 1.What could be the problem? The mechanic said either its the coil, since it seems to be cracked so a problem of current passing into the computer controlling the engine? What other parts should we check? The two sensors also?
