Next impression</p><p></p><p>wow its LOW. 1st day out with the car, went to visit a friend at pantai hospital, scraped the car everywhere. guys with lowered cars, beware of this place...</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Blue">I've welded steel plates to protect my exhaust... </span></p><p></p><p>3. The mod starts</p><p></p><p>Already lowered, bilstein springs and dampers. car on standard 15" rims now, looking for 17"s only at this point. </p><p></p><p><span style="color: Blue">Arb, sports suspension, 17", some form of chassis strengthening, and you'll be in heaven. Check out xbrace and camber plates.</span></p><p></p><p>4. Performance</p><p></p><p>Enough on the powerside, just enough for me. will look to improve handling as time goes on, which is more of a priority to me.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Blue">True, the engine output easily overwhelms the standard and aging chassis. Strenghten the chassis and you will unlock the car's hidden potential.</span> </p><p></p><p>5. Housekeeping</p><p></p><p>air cond sucks also, will get it done asap.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Blue">Naidu.</span></p><p></p><p>6. Fuel consumption</p><p></p><p>has a healthy appetite for RON97 <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite2" alt=";)" title="Wink ;)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=";)" /></p><p></p><p><span style="color: Blue">If well-kept, will settle at around 24 sen/km on Vpower, mixed driving.</span></p><p></p><p>Car had 159,000km when bought.</p><p>So far, changed some wheel bearings, hoses, all new rotors and pads. serviced and or rebuilt steering rack, new tie-rod ends. new long shaft coupling, changed all fluids, gearbox, engine, diff...</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Blue">Wow. Not bad. Any improvement after changing the long shaft? Was it vibrating before?</span></p><p></p><p>lee: do you buy a de-carb product and DIY? or you get your mechanic to do it?</p><p>as for the installation of the Raizen, where did you get that done?</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Blue">As busy as I am, the only DIY I do is driving and pumping gas... all done by M1 or KLAuto.
