Obviously, thread starter has fallen in love with the BM already... It's not difficult to understand really, same case with me when I was seriously contemplating getting my E34. With regards to the salary and you're about to be married soon, let's say the element of risk is always there financially. There is no escaping this fact. I got mine 3 years ago, with a slightly higher salary but no other commitments. So far no regrets as the car has been almost bullet proof, but the risk was there when I put the money down. If you're intent on the BM and trying to find the posts which are in favour of getting the BM, it's best to go for it...though please do make sure the car isn't a problematic one. Full service records, have a full 'check up', especially the heavy metal parts...engine, gearbox, fuel pumps, electronics (especially), beltings. if the car hasn't been trouble free, then best steer clear of the car. Repairs can seriosuly make you cry down the road, this model you're looking for isn't one of the most reliable cars BMW has ever made and many posters here can back me up on that. If you have around rm10000k in the bank now as a backup for the car, then go for the BM. No point going for a car you don't like and having a sad face while driving it all the time. Oh, and would like you to rethink your other option...Waja - Campro? Really? If you're not getting a BMW, at least get a good car...like a used Myvi. Or one of the Mitsubishi powered protons...7 or 8 years old...they're still more proven than..."Campro". Plus dirt cheap spare parts as well. Buying a brand new Msian made car isn't too advisable me thinks. Just IMHO (In my humble opinion)
