symptoms was noise intrusion/rumbling into the cabin at hi speeds and loud thud on reverse (quick release of clutch). my main suspects was the rear subframe carrier bushing.upon removal of the differential, found that the diff mount bushing has separated from it's surround.but i went ahead with the subframe bush replacment and had the diff bushing rpld as well.interior sound is now noticeably reduced and the harshness also reduced. all in all not so tough a project for diy'ers but the diff was damn freakin' heavy. subframe bush - rm70diff bush - rm 150
