Glad to hear you've managed to figure out the culprit before it was too late bro. Imagine the hassle if your car suddenly Kong on the way home. Sharing my personal experience. About 2 years back, I was driving the E32 after class, drove all the way from Sunway to Sri Petaling, then halfway at the traffic lights, I felt the car make some weird twitching at idle. But I thought nothing of it, somemore no warning lights which I noticed. That time almost night, so I turned out my headlamps and continued driving, until reach another set of lights about 1KM away... Then, suddenly, engine mati. Could restart immediately, but I felt that the cranking was weak. So I drove to the nearest bus stop and called my dad, who called AAM to help out. At first, thought it was a weak battery, and we even swapped it, but when I was making my way home, the car died again near the OKR police station. So after 3-4 times dying, we decided to drive without the lights on. I tailed my dad, whilst the AA van tailed me from behind all the way home. Nervy experience, but eventually we made it back. *phew* Later that very night, called the mechanic to have a look and he diagnosed it as faulty alternator... Thank goodness the problem hasn't resurfaced ever since.
