Didn't have time to go to Naidu's. In the end my car was due for its normal service so just asked my usual mechanic to have a quick check of the aircon since it was at his wshop anyways. He found the aircon temp sensor to be faulty so had that replaced and so far aircon seems to be ok. So didn't need to go Naidu in the end.
