e30 pro shaft U joint

ello bros,my prop shaft (long shaft) rear U joint needs replacement.i'm on my 3rd u joint already and it seems that they don't last.i'm pretty sure this is due to the machinist who isn't really an expert in the method of repalcement.has anyone experienced a U joint replacment b4 or perhaps have a comlpete set of longshaft available and hidden somewhere for sale....? oh and this will be for an e30m20 4 door manual......tks

rafamr... he is at his shop, at desa tun razak, next to bandar tasik selatan, near cheras..

my advise = change upgear gear pelan pelan lar....and heel n toe downshifts...

He must be a really hard driver or the quality of the product deteriorated. please share the life span of the prop shaft U joint before each change mr moots. I'm starting to experience that the quality of the parts questionable due to several experience. "They dont make things like they used too".

me hard driver...?yes....on my e34.the wifey drives the e30.this is a quality issue.i think i know what's wrong.will remove the prop shaft soon and fine tune the bugger and see.

I also had a slight problem with long shaft & I've examined this matter quite a bit for the last 5 years. I've yet to come across a workshop that has the technology that can replace the rear U joint section effectively, so I've resigned myself to the fact that it can't be done, at least not locally.
I did the next best thing I could think of - replace the whole long shaft with a similar part from the chop-shop!
