E28 tapping sound

Hi All,I just wanna share that i have solved my E28 tapping sound k: , only paid RM35.00 for the adjustment.Now very quiet and smootherrrrr the engine...Thanks for Wolverine, Mafia, Hisham and Kevster giving lot of opinion during the "orientation" the other day :yahoo: :huh: :lazy:

btw,how did u get rid of the tapping sound?

I TURN ON my music loud to get rid of the sound, SEE NO DEVIL, HEAR NO DEVIL :yahoo:

Nah, of course not...the mech did it, he opened out the cylinder head(or engine block?? too tech for me :huh: ) and adj on those valves...only took about 1/2 hr time B)

but it took mine almost 1 hr cos i asked many questions :yahoo:

then, fixed!!! how amazed the power increased and the eng very quiet after the adj

according to him, this should be done once a year ...

p/s after that been solved, can hear more other noice from the hood :beaten: , gotta solve them gradually, hope it wont cost me much :getyourfactsright:

oic...so u mean tht ur mech did a tapette adjustment thn? :yes!:
actually i think mine is also due to be adjusted again.
sounds damn annoying man!
