e28 brake

is the brake booster,master cylinder,and accumulator for e28 528 identical to the one in e32? if anyone knows about this, please advise me...Thank you!

wow not many people know abt e28 technical stuff huh?

haha...anyways after some research i found out that using either e28 or e32 brake booster is a waste of time....i've decided to find a regular servo from another model and modify it to fit.....i've also found out that e60 disc brakes bolt right on to the e28...currently searching for some 4 pot calipers to match and to complete my big brake kit upgrade for my car...cant wait to test it out...stopping power should be massive!

Similar but not identical, with slight modification it can be made to fit. I fitted one from a e32 735i into my e28 520 and it worked great!

hey there...im not quite sure what u mean by rear lining brake? do u mean the brake pad for rear caliper or brake shoes for the handbrake?

but when i go to the foreman they have order already.but bukan with inner power.maybe they supplier i think

change the rear brake shoes.
change the front brake pad
and pump brake service.

you know how much i must paid it to foreman charge because this BMW car ? sekali upah rm1400.the costing its nor reasonable think.waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..after that the brake fluid its leaking and menitik to lantai my garage.i go back to foreman he said minyak lebih.waaaaaaaa........minyak lebih tak kan everyday leaking down to the floor.so i think this workshop maybe 1st and the last i send to him.

if the logics cost i think : brake shoes rm100 one set.(inner power) + upah pasang sebelah rm40 = rm180,front brake pad put in around rm100 one set + upah = rm50 = rm200.pump service maybe mahal sikit susah sikit nk buka lets say around rm200+- .all rm600 +-.and foreman charge ? rm1400 (mark up) sekali ganda harga.

Learn as much as possible to DIY your car, bit by bit buy tools as you progress, you will save a lot, unless you found an honest mechanic.

U mentioned that your car is a 528i. Then why the rear is not equipped with disc brake? Even the E28 525i has 4 wheel disc system.
