E21 323i M20

Apparently the E21 323i comes with the M20 engine. Is the same M20 as in the E30? If so, can the 4 speed auto from the E30 fit as the E21 comes only with a 3 speeder.

hahaa, it seems like you have the e21 fever.

The e21 m20 engines comes with K-Jetronic system. The e30 m20 is equiped with L-Jetronic which is later replaced by Motronic system.

Or i got the other way around. Anyway, yes. you can transplant e30 m20 to e21 m20. But why m20, straight M5x lah....

I just found out that that particular E21 has a 5 speed box. The owner owned the car for the past 17 years. He is the 2nd owner. It's a 83

yes, the manul comes in 4-speed or 5-speed gearbox. Auto comes in 3 speed.

So, getting one ehh....

4hp22 from e30 giabok is direct bolt.
