Looks like my old problem, temperature runs up to 3/4. Quen, the 1st culprit for this case is thermostat stuck open. Does your car take sometime to warm up?hehehe. Next yeah you might think the fan clutch is working because its spinning but it does not lock up. Does your fan clutch locks when the temp is 1/2? How to know? Does your fan roaaaaaarrrrrrrrr when u increase rev? I spent almost 1/2 a year figuring how to reduce my temperature since i bought the car last year and the auxilary fan was on all the time(they by pass it) And two new fan clutches i bought did not operate properly until one day i got fed up and fiddle with the new fan clutches (1 behr and 1 sachs). And it works after fiddling ehhehehe. Another thing you were saying about the thermoswitch. The fact is that at 91deg C the fan will start spinnning slow if you don't turn on the A/C. But if you turn on A/C the 1st speed fan automatically turns on. 2nd stage fan kicks in when ur temp gauge reach 3/4, a loud fan will on. To me i think its too late hehehe. If you want a different fan switch, there is a 81~88 deg C thermal switch but i dont think you can find it. I got mine from internet from UUC and my 2nd stage fan kicks in between 1/2 and 3/4. Now my temp is always 1/2 and in traffic jams the most in between 1/2 and 3/4.
