Generally to do TLC of the baby and further diagnose on why there was DSC and brake warning lights lighted up every now and then (never persisted though). My mechanic's prognosis was one of these may have occurred: 1) the pressure sensors were faulty, 2) the brake master pump was faulty <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite9" alt=":eek:" title="Eek!    :eek:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":eek:" />, or 3) both 1 and 2.  :20::20:He loaned me his two extra pressure sensors and did a complete pressure bleed-down of the brake system (aka brake fluid flushing). Low and behold the warning lights dissappeared. Both my mechanic and I have test driven the car since 6pm today and the warning lights remain "no show". :top::top::top: Touch wood it will last. I'll share more of this in future and I'm praying hard that the report out will read "no more warning lights".p/s anybody knows how much is the estimated price for the brake master pump for year 2005 E46 (the one with pressure sensors with two brackets instead of one bracket)? Anybody has experienced changing the thing?</blockquote>
