My E-39, 528 (Year 2000) was flooded with 1 in. of water in the interior some 3 weeks ago. I experienced Transmission, door openings and seat adjust-ment problem after drying the carpet, and the problem was corrected by an authorized BMW workshop in Selangor. However they are yet to correct my seat adjustment problem, though the back is able to move by turning the control knob, The forward/backward and Up/Down seat position failed to response Despite replacing the faulty switch; the work-shop claimed that there was nothing wrong with the switch and the system after checking it with their software. They said the problem was due to wiring short circuit. They do not seem willing to start this job which takes time and might not have a solution. Besides I do not think they have the experienced wireman left to trouble shoot. Can anyone suggest a competent wireman in Klang Valley to solve this problem ?ThanksFoo
