It is basically relocating the air-cond controls to the empty space below it to give it the double din space. The issue is the depth of which you can push the headunit in. I think the plastic aircond air duct at the back will be blocking it and another piece of metal bracket, not too sure. Can be cut and re-shaped. Then there will be gaps around the headunit and for that, there are guys selling the face mounting plate online. Otherwise, Google up "BMW E36 double din" and you'll get numerous guides and detailed pictures online. Google is your best friend!</blockquote>
