Thx BMW9700. It wasn't the 70-300mm if that's what you were referring to. Was taken using only the Canon 55-250mm IS lens. Fortunately weather was good that day. Otherwise would have struggled with the aperture. Had to bump up the ISO though. The secret to getting good animal shots lies in patience and waiting for the right moment. It's also crucial to know when the animals are most active i.e. atfernoon, feeding times, etc.
