DIY E46 Speaker Refoam

After replacing, the bass sound is so much better. Z4 speaker is slightly different from E46 speakers.Since my front speakers is also damaged, I decided to search for a alternative and look for a generic foam replacement.Found another place uneeksupply. On checking, found that the outer dimension is actually 158mm instead of 156mm.I have to trim about 2 mm off the foam in order to fit it properly. Did not buy the extra glue as the glue from simply speaker is enough for the repair of 8 speakers.Note:The refoaming take practice. I have to redo one of the speaker as I did not centre the foam properly.The sound was horrible when I test it. So a cheap alternative to better sound other than replacing the original speaker is to refoam it. :rock:</p></blockquote><p></p>
