here's what I produced, since I had to transport my e36 cabrio hardtop sometimes from condo car-park in 8th floor to condo in 15th floor.Step 1 : go to Tesco and buy an ordinary trolley (those with handle bar can fold down)Step 2 : get some pieces 3x5 cm wooden logs (found it on construction side nearby)Step 3 : goto Sungai Wang. - 1st visit DAISO and buy some "Long Kitchen Sponges" - 2nd on same level/corridor is a hardware shop, get 2 roller wheels (which can turn around 360 deg) (TIP : if you don't have at home get also hinges, glue, wood-screws and nuts and bolts ... in either of both shops.Step 4 : go home and mount it all together and you get :View attachment 28950Some hints on what to do and what to buy are in the attached pictures.enjoy working and sweating

what is the price of a hardtop, say you accidentally damage it bro?

Hi ezzo, my hardtop came with the car when I bought it last year and the dealer stated it had been brought in from Singapore for about 12000 Ringgit, but I don't know which year it was purchased then.

Hi Lennon Tan, yeah the hardtop is quite heavy and one need two strong persons to lift it OFF (or place it back). Since I live in a condo there's no way to get anykind of lifting device allowed to fix at the carpark ceiling but simple hoists I've seen for that purpose in the internet.

how its like driving with the top up & down? any issues on road noise or rain?

Hi ezzo, with hardtop mounted it's driving like a normal car regarding noise and rain. However I must say that the rubber seal (where the top rest along the rear to the car body) had to be replaced as a little bit was missing and that did let some noise in.
I only drove once with the soft top (closed) from KL to Banting via expressway and it is quite noisy. You even can hear people on motorcycle talking when they are waiting besides you at a traffic light. Further along the coast I had the soft top down and was very good and nice windy on a warm summer day as what we expected. I never used the softtop in rain. So can't say how noisy the raindrops sound.
