There are two issues on the air that I wish to put in my thoughts this morning. Name calling an office bearer in the open does not augurs well to the club and the forum. There are many club vendors, international groups, beemer malaysia and other entities that are following our postings. Such insinuations and bickering will not be favourable to the club and or its members. I think you know what I mean. We need the "face" of a strong and a formidable club and like I have said before, staying relevant. I believe there are proper channels when I am unhappy with the way any CM has acted. Secondly, on the issue of the purported arbitrary deletion(s) by the moderator(s). The powers to moderate are conferred onto the CM and it is a discretionary power. But comes along with it is responsibility. Power comes with responsibility. Therefore I suggest that there should be a SOP on this matter, say, the CM should email the reason(s) for the post deletion to the writer of the post within a time frame eg within 24hours. But this should not be done in the open and the aggrieved party must be given an answer as to the reason why his / her post was deemed to be inappropriate. And I also do believe in settling it out over teh tarik and nasi lemak. Cheers! SOP-standard operating procedure.
