Ramsing, chill bro. Different strokes for different folks. Convoy is a hot topic recently, with many roadusers complained about lead cars/bikes behaving like hooligans and also causing unnecessary traffic congestion on the highway. From my own personal experience, having done so many convoys in the last 6-7 years once the group is too big then it is better to have a "loose convoy" if I can term it that way. Firstly, we do not have experienced and trained Lead drivers, sweepers and marshalls. Secondly, not everyone is comfortable driving fast and if everyone adheres to the 110-120km/hr speed limit then what's the point of a Monthly Drive, especially for the "enthusiasts" that may want to decarbonise their engines :). Also, when the convoy reaches any traffic light chances are the convoy will be split and like what XXX shared, some will try to go past even with the traffic lights turned red. Therefore, if the group is too big I suggest to have a "loose convoy". Take off with your buddies, drive at a pace that you are comfortable with and meet at the next RV point within a specific time. Those that want a leisurely drive, will also know they wont be left out and pressured to drive faster than they normally do. This will also take a lot of pressure off the drive orgynisers. Cheers
