Message: <blockquote data-quote="dark1234" data-source="post: 577748" data-attributes="member: 1981">usual lar , i brought my grey from the AP holder directly , before buy say got insurance got warranty like buy from BMW 1st hand but cheaper , got better interest than 2nd car.before sign the downpayment i asked for warranty disclosure.when printed , cover only "GEARBOX and ENGINE" , electronic are not covered , power window all takde. and unlucky after 1 month my car Integral active steering got fault. i have an GT1 diagnostic plug it and diagnose its SENSOR malfunction.double confirm by the AP car dealer mechanic also. replacement part  will cost 1.7k for the equipment. ding -dong for 1 ~ 2week claim it was eletronic not Steering issue , so they will not adsorb the cost so does the "warranty" company.pissed off , since i know the AP boss , call him and tiu 99 , they  say will change the component but on 50/50 basis i pay the remainder 50% , when bill come one of the light bulb blow at RM 3 only also put under my "50%" conclusion before beli from GREY everything ok , best blah blah , after beli , boss will tell u no margin etc etc, car was left there for few week so making loss cannot this and that. ALL BS.my sis brought her 1st 2nd hand  BMW car in UK, it come with 2/3 year warranty covered by the sales company if anything got problem she can change to another car FOC and even electronic or mirror spoil also covered. now when she brought her 118D Coupe from BMW Direct 1st hand , it come full warranty even tire !.in malaysia GREY the other way round , the so call add on insurance for warranty cover engine and mechanical. if IDRIVE kaput , they consider under AV , F10 have too much electronic nowdays , especially when you say HUD , ADaptive drive etc etc. not mistaken HUD if replace outside on your pocket easy 10 ~ 20k , all the "gadget" replacement cost money, if really want to buy Grey , get basic version less problem in long run.thats why i scare of grey now all my current car are from principal direct . got problem call the SA or Service center , cannot i have right to tiu them 99 , if grey u call BMW also no use. they charge you FULL Rate , not even goodwill discount.when got recall for product update all FOC , sending my wife mitsubitshi ASX to service center next week since got letter say power steering may be faulty if use too long under vibration , they will replace foc. if u buy grey you have to pay parts and labour. trust me the feeling of spending few hundred K on a car and the grey mechanic say "macam itu punya" vs my recent purchase  " no issue sir , this is not a cheap car will get it rectify "  2 different world of attitude. the grey mechanic will tell you they get paid only few hundred buck to service the car before delivery .</blockquote>
