This is my thoughts on this : for the 530i version, shorter / closer ratio diff will not reduce the torque, hence probably the midrange power is not affected much, and the top end power should also stay as it's a freakin' 3 litre. But for the 525i version, I'm not sure as it's a smaller CC'ed engine, hence lesser torque and top end power compared to the 530i M Sport version.</blockquote>
