BMW cooling system is design to withstand up to 2bar.thats why you have a 2bar radiator cap. the cracks on the cover shows stress cracks,if you look at the earlier pics i posted. it leaked from the same place. i suspect its my engine mounting.cold start the idling its bad.weak mounting is bad for top radiator hose.the reason behind this is that the M54 radiator hoses comes with plastic connector and clip for securing. the momentum of the engine revving all the time pushes the radiator hose from thermostat housing towards top radiator connector. we think that the rubber hose is soft and it'll absorb the vibration.that dont happen.weak mounting's make it worst. if you guys look at your top radiator connectors,that area is not crimped. its weak. btw. this is my conclusion over my freaking problems.(Just my 2cents).</p></blockquote><p></p>
