Dear sifus, I need some advice on how to clean and rejuvenate my leather settee. The leather seems fine (not hardened nor cracked). Just that it is sightly dirty and I want to try to restore it's shine, if possible. Do I need to shampoo it then polish or just polish would be fine? What products are there available in the market to DIY and how much roughly will it cost me? Appreciate your feedback.

bro,

i sent mine to imola in ampang, for RM110, the 7-yr-old seats came out like new...save u the elbow grease :top:

Go and buy Meguiar's Gold Class Aloe Cleaner and Conditioner and work on them seats and trim yourself. I've used them and my hides look wonderful and feel softer after the treatment. Costs abt RM50 per bottle and you can get them at Eneos or DIY Centre. Happy detailing.....

just use normal brand is good enough..
but of course,if your leather is 10 years old
go for the higher end ones..it really makes your leather like new
im using simoniz cleaner&conditioner..roughly around RM30

You can also check out the BMW Leather Conditioner and Cleaner. I would use the Sonax Leather Cleaner then top it up with BMW Leather Conditioner.

RM110 = for the leather cleaning only?
or was it inclusive with any of these :

  • Cleaning of dashboard and door panels
  • Cleaning of roof top
  • Cleaning of carpets
  • Vinyl and leather seats conditioning & protection
  • Car odor elimination
thanks in advance..

Use a leather cleaner then followed by leather moisturiser. Works for me. :top:
