tazztham, I do drive a 525d. Much happier now than i was with my e39. Well, I am sure the product works. Quite interesting actually. But the question is how well in terms of long term reliability. Took the liberty to surf the product website especially the "Fragen zu Tuning". http://www.vector-tuning.com/info2.php First thing that i notice is the Q: Why do automanufacturer dont adjust the optimal value of their cars? All cars are built for the worldwide market. In other countries, the petrol quality is not the same as us (Germany).... Hmmm, do u know how good is our Malaysian Diesel compared to Germany? Secondly, there was this Q: Will the car after the modification have a shorter lifespan? ....Only with constant sporty driving must the car change oil every 10k KM. So my Q to u is: Do u know our BMW diesel service interval is 15Kkm? Should i tell AB that i need to service earlier since all new BMWs come with free service up to 60K km that i mod the car? Also, i assuem the 10k is a guideline for Euro4 diesel? So what is the recommedned oil change for our malaysian diesel then? So as the distributor of the product, do u warranty us against engine damage? I hope people can be more responsible when recommending their products. Nevertheless, if i am staying in Germany, I would have gone for it.
