I purchased a car last year (BMW 525i). After receiving the regristration document and having it translated it would appear that the colour entered on the document is wrong, the car is white but the document says blue, all other details are correct. I spoke to the dealer who I brought the car from, he tells me that it is not a problem and not to worry about it. I am not happy that the details are incorrect on the documentation.
How do I get the details changed? Is it just a matter of going to the JPJ and requesting a change or will the car have to be inspected before any changes can be made to the regristration documentation?

Many thanks for your help and advice

2nd hand, but the car has had a colour change, it was originally black but has been changed to white.

best to call JPJ hotline.
i think you have to make an appointment with puspakom for kaler verification before ammending the document

Last time on my e46ci I did a colour change but only went to update on the grant after a few months...no issues just need to bring the ori car grant to any JPJ branch, fill in a form and they will update the information on your car grant (either by handwriting or computer print) at the counter...no need for puspakom checks or even need to bring the car...but this was a couple of years back, I guess should still be the same :)

Many thanks to all who assisted in this question. Your help is very much appreciated. :67:
