Subject: Jurid brakepads
Hi, i just brought a set of front Jurid brakepad for my BMW E46 318i. I
notice that the brakepad have been chamfer at both end. Why is the pad
chamfer? Assuming both end have been chamfer 10% each, hence the total
contact surface of the pads to the disc is lesser. Isn't that dangerous?

Dear Mouse,
Good morning !
I am Ms Wee from ACTION AUTO AGENCY (M) SDN BHD, the sole distributor of JURID DISC PADS from Malaysia.
I understand that you have the doubts why are the JURID brake pads chamfer at the edge. In fact, this is special designed to get rid of the noise that cause by the friction between disc pads and disc rotors and it does not affect the braking performance of the pads.
We are located at 30, JALAN SEGAMBUT PUSAT, SEGAMBUT, 51200 KUALA LUMPUR. Tel : 03-6258 5868.
Please do contact us if you have other inquiry pertaining to JURID DISC PADS.
Regards
Thank you.
