Hi all,need some advice from all the guru here,can 19 inch rim fit on e36 328 model.thanks. :nyehehe:

can but beforewarned that wear and tear rate on the suspension bits would be higher.... and the price for 19" tyres would be rather steep...

19 pnch can fit but you need to roll your wheel arches or else rubbing will occur.

haahahahahhahahah

Been there done that .

Bro ur handling also will be screwed ...they only look good .

TRUST ME ON THIS MAN

Yes, I've been there and done that as well. My car came with 17" before I change to 18" after one week. Then change to 19" after about 11/2 year. But it is your money to spend. For me I've used 19" for the look, 18" to compromise between performance and comfort. Now for some other reason I'm on 17" and I can definitely feels better in term of comfort.

your E36 328i should be able to throw in with 19". But yes tyres will wear out very fast unless you just drive your bimmer around and not for long distance drive. 17" rims on it, will gives comfort but not much for perfomance and looks very original taste. With 18" will gives very much of performance and looks great.

Bro sorry for the incorrect word. Don't get me wrong, i mean bigger rims gives better grip( Including tyres choice) and it definetely gives wider width on your car. :yes:
Bigger rims with wider tyres which alter the width of your car does not equate improved handling. In fact, it could be a recipe for disaster!

The only recommendation for wheel and tyre upgrades is one size up from the OEM spec. Plus two if you must have the 'look'. Go beyound plus two and be prepared for:

1. Premature suspension bushing failure
2. Premature balljoint and tie-rod failure
3. Premature steering rack failure
4. Premature absorber failure
5. Ill ride and handling
6. Massive hydroplanning on wet surfaces

The premature failures are attributed to the fact that by going beyond the plus two rule, you have altered the the specifications and thrown away the engineering that you have paid for in the first place. Your suspension and chassis geometry will bee completely out of spec and hence; UNSAFE.

Where wheel size and chassis dynamics are concerned for automobiles, BIGGER is not neccessarily BETTER.....

Monster wheels and tyre combos are only applicable to show cars....IMHO

Actually the initial size for 3 series e46 is 16", not sure for e36. Based on that then
17" = Plus 1
18" = Plus 2
19" = Plus 3

Plus 1 and 2 mostly do not require any modification to the car.
Plus 3 will require fender rolling.
Again don't forget to get the proper offset.

Put 18" if you want the look.
Even with 17" you can still put staggered size. My setup:
18": Pirelli P-0-Rosso 225/40(f) and 255/35®
19": Pirelli P-0-Nero 235/35 all 4
or 225/35(f) and 255/30® but have asked around, the tyre is not available locally.
Now 17": Pirelli P-0-Rosso 225/45(f) offset 41 and 255/40 ® offset 50.

Hi Zul.....thanks for ur information :eek:k:

From my experience, stock E34 using 18" AC Schnitzer, not last even for a day. Then I stick with 17" till now. The handling is totally different and I can't live whenthe 18" hit the uneven surface, then the worst handling comes to life.
