As stated initially on the starting of this thread, I've sent my car for servicing under my own cost although it is still under BSRI. What to do, their oil change interval very optimistic and I rather follow the old school guideline :-) As I told the SC that my warranty is expiring, I've asked him to perform inspection all round the car to ensure no severe wear n tear and also possible faults. They performed the so called CNY 20 point inspection and my car came out OK. So, no last minute parts replacement. But my steering wheel's soft plastic begin to experience peeling... Mmmm.. wonder why he didn't recommend/advise me on that. As right now, I'm under the mercy of the "Good-will" warranty period, I just hope everything is OK. Have anyone claim warranty on steering wheel skin peeling and especially during "Good-will" warranty period? One more thing i noticed about Ingress (yup, the SC i went to), they used Petronas Syntium 5W-30 full synthetic engine oil instead of Castrol's equivalent (there goes my Castrol Edge sitting @ home for engine top-up purposes). Why is that so? I thought all SC supposed to use Castrol oil as it is recommended on the engine oil cover? Strange. Nevertheless, overall, friendly experience at the SC but I can't help but feel that the SA not doing everything in his power to assist me. Or perhaps... I not friend enough with him yet :-p
