BRS Rim market price enquiries..

dear all sifu sifu of the bmw crazy club,i need some advice.i just refurbished a original BMW rims taken out from an E36. The rims was changed by the previous owner and then when i bought the car over it was in a very bad shape. so i decided to send it to be refurbishes. now the rims look like this.

im not very sure on the tech specs of the rimsbut the back of the rims showsBRSET25 VIA JAPAN7x15JJ or im not sure what symbol is thatim having a itch to sell it off but another demon is asking me to keep it. so i just wondering how much is the value of this set of rims...Thanks in fowards ya =Dreally hope someone could point me at the right direction...

Nice work on the refurbishment! You can check mudah.my for benchmark. Got few ads there. Look for ones that more or less match your wheels spec.

BBS RS is not necessarily rare. But the ones matching some particular car's spec might be super rare e.g. 16x8jj with 4x100 pcd and offset at 25 (for e30). In those kinds of instances you can play around with the price a bit. Got one in mudah asking for RM5.5k for that rim. Crazy. But lovely!

Furthermore not all BMW (or other makes) model can suit BBS RS. RSs are usually used to get the more classic look. But again it all depends on the owner's preference.

Btw are those lips polished or painted over with silver?

I sold off my RS033.. kicking myself now.

How badly damaged were they?

er...sorry bro...but your rims states BRS not BBS...thus its a replica...imho if u are not using it, then sell it..no point holding on to it unless its the real thing which will carry some value in the future. just my honest 2 cents.

bro no offence, im just wanting to know what im having is a collectible or just like some taiwan replica rims which are practically worthless...im not testing the market. i just want to know. if u cant help then dont needa kutuk me like this lo...

To answer ur question is quite simple. . . . 1st. . U need to ask urself either u like d rim or not? Its ur rim,ur car not others. . . . So long u like it and its came with d car. . . Just ignore others opinion. . . . .

Now. . . About d rim value. . . . The rim.definitely NOT BBS RS! ! ! ! So the value not going as high as RS which is one of the best rim ever for BMW especially for old classic model. . . .

but then, if it looks good on your car and you dont bother so much whether ori or replica, then by all means, use it.
