You're right again ... the e36 is about 175kg heavier than the e30 ... Maybe not fair comparison, but the ST115s on the e30 before, performed much much better in the wet. So I still wouldn't trust the GIII under wet conditions.The GIII is quite silent, more so than ST115 and GSD3. Although the side-walls are not as stiff as the ST115, they don't flex much under hard turns ... your kind of tire ....
