I am speaking from my own experience of owning a f30. This is my first BMW and prior to this I have owned all makes of car from local to Japanese to Koreans and continentals. The f30 looks great and stylish but it fails in terms of quality of finishing. There's just too many poor quality plastics around and they are poorly put together by the local assembly plant. All these plastics are giving out all kind of creaking and rattling sound over time as the parts get loosen due to everyday use. I have creaking and rattling noise coming out from my dashboard, steering column, door panels and seats and then the notorious steering rack clunking noise which remain unresolved for more than one year now. All these really affected the ownership experience. Albeit all these nitty gritty problems, I still find my BMW a pleasure to drive. It never fails to excite and put a smile on my face whenever I put my foot down and my hands on the well positioned steering wheel.
