Brake Light Switch/Sensor Malfunction

Dear BimmersWish you all Happy New Year 2012.Recently encountered all my brake light including 3rd Brake Light were ON and Off,mostly ON & disturbed other functions such as power window etc. Suspected Brake Light Sensor under the steering panel. Any advice or pricing for the part?Cheers & Thanks in Advance

Reading some overseas forums in the past, symptoms like these are usually the ignition switch...

Mr haywire, new to me...pls lead me to the link if you have....don't want to pay something not meant for it...if the ignition is the source possible to get the 2nd hand part?
