BMW525i gear jumps when travelling uphill

I recently bnought a BMW 525i, a japanese spec year 2004 from a local dealer, I have noticed that when i travel up hill or even when going down hill, my gears changes in a jump kind of state, it jumps to a lower gear when changing and the feelings is very uncomfortable, same thing happens when travelling downhill. When i travel on strainght road, it switchs fine. I have take it to a BMW specialist and they have electronically checked my gearbox and could not find any problems. If you are refering to E60 then the gear downshif during uphill and downhill is normal..

It downshift on uphill as it let the engine push hard on your climb while the downshift on the down hill is to allow engine braking and maintain traction
