why? Why the X 5? If you don't mind bro, share with others like me too. Btw, Ah Meng is my name. I have a E39 bmw 523i 1999. Was quite happy with my car until a friend asked me to join him up to Genting in his 528. It is more powerful and graceful to drive (almost like a Mercedes Benz). The 523i is not graceful/relaxed at all for long distances. I became disatisfied driving my own car ever since. I changed tyres to michelin PP2. Also the absorbers. Lowered the springs. Then brought the springs back to original height. Still not happy. I also found the e39 528 to be better insulated in terms of road noise than my own e39 523i. Now thinking of trading my car for a brand new Camry 2.4  (rm170,000) maybe. Performance wise is questionable but at least it is way quieter than what I have now. But my wife likes suvs such as Mercedes ML320 and Toyota Fortuner 270. As soon as she met up with a datuk friend 's wife on mahjong day, she was brainwashed into asking me X 5 so many times. Is this a good choice? I thought X 5 had many troubles? No? Yes? :thefinger: I tried the current e60 523 and found it to be slightly better than my own car only. Looks of course is terrific but thats all. For around rm220,000, there are a few 2003 e60 models I can find.
